Payment & Security

Effective Date: May 8, 2026

Payment Recipient: SER SCHEMA EOOD (UIC/EIK: 207233087), a registered person under the VAT Act (BG207233087).

Payment Provider: Viva Payment Services Single Member S.A. (Viva.com).

This document forms an integral part of the General Terms & Conditions and strictly regulates the execution of financial transactions on the Rentalistic.com internet platform. This document outlines the technical, cryptographic, and organizational measures implemented by the Company and its financial partners to guarantee the absolute security of users’ payment data in full compliance with the European Payment Services Directive (PSD2).

1. Accepted Payment Instruments

Payment for booking services and security deposits is processed exclusively via cashless methods using debit and credit bank cards from international payment networks: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and American Express of all tiers (including Classic, Gold, Platinum, Infinite, World, Black Edition). The Platform also supports instant transactions via secure tokenized digital wallets, Apple Pay and Google Pay, provided the corresponding technical capability is active on the payer’s device. All calculations, rates, and charges on the website are executed exclusively in the single European currency — Euro (€). The payer guarantees that they are the legitimate holder of the payment instrument being used.

2. Processing and Technical Infrastructure

The processing of all electronic payments on the Site is completely delegated to a licensed European financial institution — Viva Payment Services Single Member S.A. (operating under the brand name Viva.com), specializing in high-tech internet acquiring and cloud payment solutions. Upon initiating the payment process, the User is automatically redirected to the secure payment gateway (checkout) of the provider. The technical server infrastructure of Viva.com is certified to the highest and most stringent security standard in the payment card industry — PCI DSS Level 1 (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), guaranteeing maximum protection of transactional data against unauthorized interference, cyberattacks, or data compromise.

3. Confidentiality of Payment Credentials

SER SCHEMA EOOD officially and unconditionally states that its servers (including the Platform’s hosting and databases) do not collect, process, intercept, or store the complete bank card details of users (including the 16-digit PAN card number, exact expiration date, and the secret CVC/CVV code). The entry of all critical financial data is performed by the User exclusively within the secure, isolated environment of the payment provider, Viva.com. The transmission of information between the User’s web browser and the acquiring bank’s server is encrypted via SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security) protocols using advanced cryptographic algorithms, physically preventing third parties (including the administration of the Rentalistic Site) from intercepting or modifying data.

4. Payer Authentication Procedure (Anti-Fraud)

To uncompromisingly prevent fraudulent transactions (fraud), protect against unauthorized chargebacks, and safeguard the funds of legitimate cardholders, the Platform’s payment gateway strictly requires Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) and active versions of 3D Secure protocols (Verified by Visa, Mastercard Identity Check, American Express SafeKey). This technology requires the payer to provide additional confirmation of the initiated transaction by entering a one-time dynamic password (OTP) received via SMS, push notification, or through biometric authorization within their issuing bank’s mobile application. If the authentication procedure fails or triggers the risk filters of the issuing bank, the transaction is automatically rejected by the payment system, and the booking remains unconfirmed.

5. Transaction Completion and Invoicing

The User’s obligations regarding payment for accommodation services are legally considered fulfilled the moment the Platform receives a successful electronic confirmation (webhook) from the processing center indicating that the funds have been successfully authorized and charged (or held). Immediately following a successful payment, an automated notification (voucher) is sent to the User’s specified email address, serving as official confirmation of the booking contract.

SER SCHEMA EOOD, as a registered VAT payer in the Republic of Bulgaria (under the VAT Act), guarantees that all financial operations are conducted transparently and in strict compliance with the tax legislation of the European Union and Bulgaria. The cost of services includes all applicable taxes. Upon written request by the User (whether an individual or corporate client), the Company provides a complete set of official closing documents (an electronic invoice with itemized VAT) for the paid services.
